When I was pregnant with Solomon,
I had cravings of a variety of types.
The "I eat them all day 10 times a day" type:
The "My craving is too big for my stomach" type:
The "I make my husband buy me some on a whim" type:
The "I make my husband buy me some on a whim but change my mind when it arrives" type:
THEN
When I was pregnant with Dominic,
I didn't have cravings. Instead, Dominic operated my brain like a crazed binging maniac screaming, "Chocolate! More Chocolate! Cola! More Chocolate!" all day every day for 9 months. I didn't really even like brownies that much before Dominic entered the womb.
You see, it was out of my hands, so I surrendered. |
THEN
When I was pregnant with Wilson,
I needed one thing only to sustain me.
Healthy.
Just keeping it real.
Oh goodness! I had some peach ice cream while I was pregnant and it was so good that I actually didn't want to try to find a substitute for fear that it wouldn't be as good as that one time. It was homemade at a hometown restaurant and I just didn't believe anything would ever top it, but I dreamed about it every day!
ReplyDeleteLoooooved this! Thank you for keeping it real. You are too funny. Last pregnancy was so carbs for me. I am fascinated that all of your cravings have been so different!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting the link-up!
DeleteCarbs, fruity, chocolate....that almost covers my spectrum, too!
ReplyDeleteIt is so crazy. Fast food was big with my first one too. Namely, Big Macs.
